Amplified Stud

The Amplified Stud is a proprietary engineered cold-formed steel stud structural shape meeting AISI S100 guidelines that achieves a significantly axial load strength compared to the weight of an equivelant standard SSMA C-Stud shape.  This means a lighter gauge stud can be utilized which can save in framing costs while also making it easier to install fasteners for drywall, cabinets, trim, etc. due to the thinner (and wider) substrate flange.
